Benadryl is an antihistamine, it is mainly used to the sneezing, watery eyes, itching, runny nose, and other symptoms include it can motion sickness, induces sleep and also used to treat mild Parkinson’s disease.

  • Photosensitivity reactions

GIT:

Gastrointestinal side effects have usually mild and included nausea and dry mouth

Cardiovascular:

Cardiovascular side effects include hypotension, tachycardia, and palpitation

Ocular:

Ocular side effects include blurred vision, diplopia, dry eyes, due to anticholinergic effect.

Hematological:

These side effects include hemolytic anemia, thrombocytopenia, and agranulocytosis have been rarely caused by antihistamines.
