Pravastatin is the drugs called HMG coA reductase or statins. It can reduce the level low-density lipoprotein or LDL and triglycerides in the blood while increasing the good cholesterol (high-density lipoprotein).
It mainly used to treat the high cholesterol, and lowers the risk of heart complications in the people with type-2 Diabetes.

The women should not be taken if they are allergic, pregnant and breastfeeding, or if any liver diseases. The interaction may occur if the medications along with the atorvastatin, in rare cases it can cause breakdown of skeleton muscle which leads to kidney failure; seek emergency treatment if you have to feel any fever, muscle pain, and a colored urine. Avoid eating foods which contain high fat. Avoid consuming alcohol it can raise the triglyceride levels and increases the risk of liver damage.
