This medicine should not be used if the patient is suffering from glaucoma, it is also not recommended for pregnant. This drug can pass into breast milk cause defects and life-threatening symptoms in the child. Sustained or extended-release tablets:

The dosage is about 0.5-1mg orally once in a day.

Geriatric dose:

Tablet: The minimum dosage is about 0.25-0.5mg per 2- 3 times a day

For panic disorder:

The drug is about 0.5mg administered orally for 3 times a day.
